Our Approach
-
We’re in this together.
It can be common that consultants operate at an arm’s length from the organization but we are here to collaborate as an integrated part of your team. We work to understand your long-term vision for the organization and set our sights on it with you. This is how we do the best work.
-
Grasping at the root.
True transformation requires reckoning with and challenging entrenched power structures — those that exist both internally and externally to an organization. We work with leaders and teams to intentionally analyze systems and build cultures, behaviors, and governance that better reflect their values.
-
An individualized approach.
There is not a one-size-fits-all all approach to building transformational organizations. We engage your team to understand the specific incentive structures, policies, norms, regulations, and history at play. When we’re up against an organizational challenge we start by identifying what is disrupting balance and develop a unique plan of action.
-
Impacted leadership, privileged support.
We work with teams to develop processes and practices that center those who are directly impacted by a problem in the process of developing a solution. This may include building new skills within your team, increasing your capacity for power sharing, and embracing the curiosity of incorporating new systems of work.
-
A budget to meet your needs.
Sometimes people with big visions don’t have the funds to match. We are in this work to support a transformative movement led by leaders who share identities and lived experiences with the communities they work with. To prioritize leaders that have been systemically excluded our rates are on a sliding scale.
-
There’s more.
As needed, we tap into our diverse network of freelancers, facilitators, or subject matter experts to support projects that call for a variety of specialized skills and perspectives. This gives us the flexibility to take on more complex projects with the right team— all while staying within your budget.
